We the members of the Oakland Christian Church, Oakland, Illinois, hereby unite for the public worship of Almighty God, to edify and build up the church through Bible teaching and Christian fellowship; to share the gospel locally and throughout the world in keeping with the Great Commission.
The purpose of the church is as follows:
(a) To worship God through His Son Jesus Christ
(b) To preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ
(c) To support missionary and benevolent undertakings that is true to the Word of God
(d) To do good to all men
(e) To seek the restoration of the church as Jesus established it
(f) To seek and save the lost

Our purpose is to love God and love others by going, making disciples, baptizing and teaching.
